ORTHOPEDIC MASSAGE

Ideal for anyone suffering from muscular pain or a loss of range of motion resulting from injury or overuse. The massage session is then customized for the client's specific needs. Techniques may include; Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Active Isolated Stretching, Muscle Energy Technique, PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and more.

30 minutes - $45 • 60 minutes - $70

MEDICAL MASSAGE

Medical Massage is Orthopedic Massage that is directed by a physician. Once your doctor determines that massage therapy is medically necessary, a prescription is written detailing the diagnosis, the areas to be treated and the frequency and duration of the treatment. Many automobile insurance companies will pay for Medical Massage treatments following an accident. Unfortunately, most primary health insurance plans will not pay for massage therapy.

Please call the office for details.

REFLEXOLOGY

A treatment that addresses pain and dysfunction in the body by working on corresponding reflex points on the hands and feet. Reflexology is very useful if the therapist is unable to access an area of dysfunction due to excessive pain, or the location of the dysfunction.

Fascia is the connective tissue that forms an endless web encasing your musculature and organs. EAR CANDLING

This is an ancient chinese treatment, using unbleached muslin cloth dipped in beeswax and soy wax and rolled into a cone shape. The "candle" is inserted gently into the ear while the other end is lit, creating a draw that removes excess wax and other matter from the outer ear.  One candle usually takes about 15 minutes to burn, so you should expect a thirty minute treatment if you have both ears candled.
